What about that title? Haven't heard that one?
Of course, it's a play on words from the 2nd commandment, according to our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ!
I just happen to have spent my life in a family of 4 girsl...me and my three sisters.
I am sister #3...I'm the 3rd daughter of a man named Ted...that's why I'm Teddi.
I've been very blessed in the fact that those three sisters...all three of them...love the LORD with all their hearts!!
How wonderful is that? I mean, if I need encouragement, or if I need prayer agreement, I can call any of my three sisters and know that they are there for me...standing in the gap for me.
It has been wonderful that even from childhood, I've know that I'm loved by and prayed for by my sisters.
I am also very blessed that these sisters are also my sisters in Christ. When Mama was alive, we would all pray in agreement in person, by phone, and now even by text...caring for and loving our family.
We have so many sisters in the family of God ! Amazing!!
I was with a few yesterday...and, so blessed!!
I'm in a Bible Study called Shinegirls on the internet...and the leader of that group had us to her house just to love on us.
How wonderful was that?
We, who pray together almost every day...and many of us not having met in person...were able to do that yesterday. We feasted, too! That's something women like to do...so we just ate and shared. Lots of hugs!!
Inspired is what I am today! LOL!!! :)
I awakened this with the idea to invite some local Women Who Pray ladies and do the same thing. It will also be a love feast.
You might think I'm stealing Jill's idea, but I believe that it was Jesus' idea first. They met. I mean He met with his disciples. Not only at the LORD's supper, but other times, they were with Him and ate and let Him love them.
I'm also thinking of a bigger feast. I can see people in it like Germaine Copeland, Reann Ring, Pam Moore, Bobbie Jean Moore, Barbara Beeler, myself, Jill, and others...I don't know who all they are...and I don't know the where or when of it.
I even believe Stormie Omartian, Beth Alves, Beth Moore, Sheila Walsh, Beverly LaHaye, and Phyllis Schlafly might be at one ... or that might not be until Glory!!!
All of these women have inspired...and breathed life to me!! All of them that I have named have mentored me!
I'm just so blessed to be a sister, aunt, Mom, grandmama...not only in my own family...but in the family of God!!!
Thank You Jesus!!!
i love you and your heart for fellowship and for women...you've been doing this for years and still today you seek to love on other women and bless them. it blesses my socks off!
