No Love like the Love of The Father

If the Foundations Be Destroyed, What Can the Righteous Do?

It is 3:22 AM, on Friday, March 30, 2012.

I am here to write what I’m hearing from the LORD…as the LORD’s Ready Writer.

It is He… the LORD God, Almighty, who awakened me about 3:00 A.M., and with the words in this title…In fact, I could first hear me talking and listening…

I was portraying, Abraham as he was interceding for Lot’s city,Sodom and Gomorrah.

I’m in Bible Study, with some precious Methodist ladies in Walnut Grove, and we are studying with Beth Moore, The Patriarchs.

As is my practice at times, I studied most of it, yesterday…I always begin trying to do just one day at a time, but due to the fact that I do 3 Bible studies…attend 2 and do one online…as well as praying and writing much as full-time prayer minister and Ready Writer of Women Who Pray…it just works out that way.

I’ve always loved the story of Abraham.  His obedience to God and walk with God, and God calling him His friend has had much impact on my life!! In fact, Abraham's intercession for Israel is the example God gave me for this ministry from the beginning.

As I was reading it, yesterday, alone with God here in my home…I wrote the question down in the margin of the 1st part of Day 5 of Session 2 (I had just read all of chapters 18 and 19 of Genesis):

LORD, Do we need 10 righteous in each city? Show…Direct us LORD…calling on Germaine, Cindy, Beth, Teddi/WWPray…Then, I wrote down the 10 names that pray faithfully in WWPray…Teddi, Emily, Sandra, Judy, Theresa, Jessica, Janet, Penny, Linnetta, Gloria…

I was excited to complete all my homework.  If you’ve done any Beth Moore Bible Study…and I’ve done many over the years, 2 of them twice…you know that there is a lot of homework.

I don’t like homework anymore than you do, but I’m never sorry when I’ve done it! I have to be careful not to beat myself up over not completing it, but I also have to be careful not to take it too lightly.

Beth Moore and her team pray much over each teaching.  How do I know? Well, she tells us when she speaks to us.  Each dvd is as if you are in the audience.

I have seen her in person, but I was far away from her in a humongous church. It’s more intimate, actually, in small group with the dvd. She believes and loves her dvd audience and lets us know it.

I have loved this story, I have to say it again! I mean I love this story! Every time I read it, I gain new insight…more and more do I receive each time.

I love that Abraham is seated in his tent, at the door, and he’s watching.

I love that he sees the three men standing near him, and ...

I love that he recognizes that this is a special threesome…because the LORD has favored him with a visitation… and...

I love that Abraham asks Him not to pass by but to stay...

I love that He stays!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!

Then, Abraham and Sarah fed the guests a wonderful meal, as the guests remained.

How wonderful is that?  YHWH ...God Almighty...received Abraham (mere human)'s hospitality!!!! Glooorrrryyyy!!!!

If I didn’t even see Beth, I would gain much from her writing…her teaching. Because we are in the Word so much as we do the study that the anointing is flowing profusely from the pages.

I like that!!!

I love the Word and the Word is Jesus…the Word became flesh and dwelt among us…

Immanuel!! God with us!!! Rich! Rich! Rich!!!

Now, as the story goes on, the angels that were on the right and left of the LORD, as He appeared to Abraham, were on assignment to go ahead of the LORD.

The LORD stayed back with Abraham.

Now, remember, I’ve done my homework, so I’ve already read and been richly blessed as I’ve read the account many times…always loving it…so...

I have come prepared to receive from Beth what she will bring…deliver…to her audience this time.

Now listen to the words from Beth that jumped out at me my notes…

Dialogue between a mere human and God Himself.  He…God…set it up!

What God thinks is perfectly consistent with what He does!

What God thinks…He speaks…and what God says…He Does!!

I love it!!!!

We pray every day in our prayer blanket what I took with me from the Beth’s Believing God  study,

We believe God is who He says He is.

We believe God will do what He says He will do!

Woo Hoo!!!! Sooo riicccchhhhh!!!!!

I’ve seen Abraham…Father Abraham that is…as the father of many nations.

I know I’m in the promises of Abraham because I’m in Jesus!! Glory!!!

I know Abraham as an intercessor because the way he prayed for Sodom and Gomorrah is a key element of our boldness to pray for our tent as Women Who Pray.

Abraham has been our major model for intercession…so I’m not unfamiliar with him at all.

However, I had not seen Abraham as a prophet…though I knew God was speaking into him prophesy!!

I know that God has placed me in this place and at this time to speak to the nations by fb and website.

I know that I’m an intercessor…and as I speak the Word…as I pray the Word, the gift of prophecy is flowing.

Why is that? The Word is prophetical.

Every time you receive for yourself a promise and you stand and say it...
and    say    it !   …    and    say    it ! !

then...when you see it...even if years and years later…

prophecy has brought forth promise.

I’ve never said that…I don’t think I’ve heard it before, so let me say it again…

prophecy brings forth promise

Hey I like that!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!

No wonder He has told us to pray His prayer…the WORD…because...

it is prophetical and will bring the promise…

Glooorrrrryyyyyy!!!!!

Now, let’s get back to Beth Moore…we’re reading Genesis 18: 17, where the LORD says,

“Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing?"

Our leader, in this Bible study, Judi asked us what did we think that scripture meant?

I love that Beth answered the question by expounding on it …taking it apart as she calls it…verse by verse.

Beth takes us to Amos 3:7:

Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

Woo Hoo!!! I’m really getting excited now.

This scripture…along with Isaiah 52 , referring to the Watchman seeing Zion come in…and oh so many others…

I guess most all of the prophets…has moved me to intercession…

                         to    following   my   call ! ! !

I haven’t seen Him…the LORD…as Abraham did... but I’ve sensed His presence so strongly that I  had to lay prostrate on the floor more than once…

I’ve seen in the Spirit…many pictures in my mind...I expect more to come…just by listening to this story of Abraham again…

Praise the LORD!!!

Beth again…

God invited Abraham – a mere man – to walk with Him so that He – God – could teach Abraham how a man can walk like Him.

Selah!!! Pause and take it in…no wonder the Word says that so often in Psalms…I’m having to pause as I write…and I was there…just sharing with you…whew!!!

         Selah!!

Breathe on me LORD, for just sharing makes me breathless!!!!

Now, I know I sound like a drama queen to the world here…

but this same LORD who visited Abraham in person…visits me in voice…often…

and gives me pictures…and words…and word pictures…to explains to me...

so I can explain to you.

He…YHWH…LORD…Jehovah God…visits me…and wakes me up…and puts me to sleep…

not every day…but anytime He wants to.

I’m His and He’s mine!!!!    He’s the potter, and I’m the clay!!!

Now, Beth shows us a very important question here…actually 2 questions…that are answered here also…

Can God trust Abraham?...and…Can Abraham trust God?

The answers are found in this story.  Verse  19, God is saying about Abraham,

“For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and justice, that the LORD may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.”

What did the LORD speak to Abraham? Verse 18,

Since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him.

I’m in this promise.  I claim it. I am from the Gentile nations. I am not Hebrew...

but Jesus is mine…and He in me makes me the seed of Abraham! Glorryyy!!!

The promise had not changed since God first prophesied…spoke it to Abraham when He called Abraham out of Ur.

Now, what was God visiting Abraham for in the first place?

I know how amazing this is, but Beth points out that God esteems Abraham. He actually lets him…as a prophet…know what He’s going to do before He does it.

Why? He just does. God doesn’t ambush. God speaks to the prophets through the ages.

There are those who say there are no prophets today.  There are also ones who claim to be prophets, but their fruit proves them to be false prophets.

However, if there are fakes, then there is always the real! If there’s false…there is always true.

Counterfeits are copies of the original…the real!

If we understand that, then, we are not deceived.  How do we know the Truth? How do we not follow the false leader or prophet?

Because we hear the voice of the Shepherd.

How do we know His voice? By spending much time in His Word.

If a bank teller knows the real from the counterfeit by spending much time practicing with and handling the real…then, we need to understand that if we are filling our minds on the things of this world…

then we are making our minds at enmity with God

which means enemies of God.

Our minds should be dwelling only in the Word and the things of God.  We’re playing with a loaded gun by allowing our minds to lust through the pages of magazines, websites, television, books, games, etc.

Spending time doing the useless things of this world, filling our minds with clutter,  adds to our carnality…our flesh.

We can’t walk in the Spirit with the mind of the flesh.

If we weren’t supposed to guard our minds, the LORD God of Heaven would not have told us to do so!

Now, for the part about Abraham trusting God…listen in…and get ready to shout…

20 And the Lord said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, 21 I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know.”

Here is the telling of what He is about to do. Notice, that though God knows what is going on in Sodom and Gomorrah, and He did not need to come down in person to see, since He is omniscient,  God did this in order to walk out before Abraham what a human should do before making any judgment.

We are not to have an opinion based on hearsay…we are to check out anything we speak to…especially as prophetical intercessors.

Prophetical intercessors speak to God in behalf of man, and we speak to man in behalf of God.

22 Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the Lord. 23 And Abraham came near and said,

Would You also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

24 Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city;

Would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it?

25 Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked;

far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

26 So the Lord said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.”

27 Then Abraham answered and said, “Indeed now, I who am but dust and ashes have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord:

28 Suppose there were five less than the fifty righteous; would You destroy all of the city for lack of five?”

So He said, “If I find there forty-five, I will not destroy it.

29 And he spoke to Him yet again and said, “Suppose there should be forty found there?”

So He said, “I will not do it for the sake of forty.”

30 Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Suppose thirty should be found there?”

So He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

31 And he said, “Indeed now, I have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose twenty should be found there?”

So He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of twenty.”

32 Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more:

Suppose ten should be found there?”

And He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.”

33 So the Lord went His way as soon as He had finished speaking with Abraham;

and Abraham returned to his place. (Intercessors' job is complete here).

Whoa!!!!! Did you hear that? Abraham interceded over and over and over…and the LORD was soooo patient! Why do you suppose that is?

We pray the following prayer every day in the prayer blanket:

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.  (2 Peter 3: 9)

We line up our confession in agreement with God every day, that we also are patient (longsuffering) not willing for any to perish …in our past, present, and future...not willing to lose even one.

Therefore, we regard no unforgiveness of any kind…not even disappointment…we forgive 70 times 7.

Now, knowing what I knew, and adding what I know today...

I realize that God woke me up this morning to pray for America!

How do I know that the scripture spoken into my heart is for America?

Well, I’m 62 years old…that’s a start.

I have seen another America…and the one today doesn’t even look a little like the one I was raised in.

I’ve seen America improve things that saddened me as a little girl.  I can now sit and have lunch, go to the restaurants and the restrooms with women of all colors…the beautiful colors of a tossed salad…or fruit salad.

For this I am most grateful!!

I rejoice and thank the LORD for all citizens of the United States of America having the same rights.

I love the Constitution and I salute the flag, hand over heart.

I stand and place my hand on my heart when the Star-spangled Banner is played.

I love people of all ages and all races and nationalities.  I smile at and can talk to anybody and truly enjoy it…regardless of our backgrounds, incomes, environments, etc.

Jesus in me loves them all!! He’s been in charge too long for me to want the reins back.

There’s a black cloud over this nation.  I saw it coming in the late 70’s, and I fought it best I knew how as MOM (Mothers On the March).  I  was the president.

Laws were tearing down the home.  Women were leaving their husbands by droves.

The feminists were declaring that women needed freedom from their responsibilities.

I see the gain of better education and jobs for women as a good thing…and I taught 19 years, while completing 3 degrees.  The good was that single-parents, mostly women, could better support their children.

How costly was that gain?

Women working and divorced…raising children alone.

Many of the children are latch-key kids.

As a teacher, I saw the devastation brought to the children by the demise of marriage.

Marriage is a God-ordained institution.  The tearing down of this foundation has truly just about made this ship sink.

For years, holes have been being patched…while new holes have been made.

Without marriage…and I mean between man and woman…we can’t even obey the first commandment God ever made to mankind:

         …”Be fruitful and multiply…”

What was the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah? If you read Genesis 19: 1-5, you will see exactly what sin this was.

In verse 5, the men of Sodom, both young and old…all of them surrounded the city, and told Lot to “Bring them out to us, that we may know them carnally.”

Let’s see?? Is there anyone reading this that can’t hear this?

                 Woe    to     America   !   !   !

What have we brought ourselves to…we not only have people living this way throughout the land…we have do-gooders and compromisers of the Word everywhere!!

To speak out as I am here is to be politically incorrect in America today. It would be said of me here that I am intolerant.

Let me make myself perfectly clear! I am not mean, and I don’t hate anyone.

I love all mankind…not willing that any perish…like my LORD!

He came to this earth in flesh, and dwelt among us, and He clearly lived a sinless life before us.

Otherwise, He could not have died on the cross for my sin or yours, and we would be headed for hellfire.

However, I love you enough to tell you the Truth!

No whoremongers will be in Heaven.

Deception is everywhere! Compromise! Seducing spirits! Just like Timothy told us we’d have in the last days.

Our youth, see, hear, and experience way too much world!!

Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” (NKJV)1 John 2:15.

If I love someone, I am accountable to tell them the Truth.

I can no more tell a man or woman that he or she can go to Heaven, if either are living in any relationship except Marriage...

than I can a Muslim or Hindu or Buddhist.

            Jesus     died    for    us  ! ! !

He took our sin. He covered it with His blood…

and obliterated it...not to touch or effect us again.

Woooooo Hoooooo!!! We have a clean slate!!!!!

However,   we may not continue to live in sin...
         and expect to make it.

The bondage of sexual sin is as addictive as drugs…

pornography is  lust of the eye and can be  lust of the flesh!

There’s a reason that Proverbs talks to the foolish man...who goes after married women, and/or unmarried women, not intending to marry them first…he is in danger…he takes fire to his bosom…he is headed to hell.

I know it’s the 2000’s …2nd millennium…and all…

But come on Church!! Who are we kidding?

The LORD says, “Judgment begins at the house of the LORD!!”  and...

He asks, “When I return, will I find any faithful?”

OK.  Man and woman in beloved matrimony until death do them part is a foundation that has been attacked by all means of the enemy.

Our adversary, as a roaring lion, has gone about…purposely…to destroy every marriage that he can get his toehold on …any weak part.

Separation is the threshold of divorce…that we pray against every Saturday when we pray Saturday’s Prayer Blanket.

Women are told to love their husbands and children.  Look at the women who have aborted their children.  And, look at the ones who have maimed and killed their children after their birth.

At the root of the plan for women to be free from the responsibility of creating families with the me they marry...was the adversary…the roaring lion…again.

Mothers have been told to correct their children early, while there is time.  God says children are His heritage…and they are His reward.

Let me say right here to the women who have desired children and not been able to get pregnant…or after getting pregnant, have miscarried (something I experienced with great loss)…or have birthed but babies have died shortly thereafter....

           I salute you!!

I salute those of you who have adopted, or who have raised foster children...
or who have not had children of their own but have taught or worked with children  in some way.

I also salute those who have chosen celibacy because Paul did in the New Testament spoke to this.

There are men and women sold out to the LORD, who have not married or had children.

Having to please a spouse has been and will forever be a mystery! I snicker here.

God made man and woman to be different…on purpose.

Men are the head of the home no matter how you want to wriggle out of that position of
         submission…

       It’s   God’s   CALL ! ! !

Now, there's a play on words! His call because He's in charge!....and....

His call because we are called to our positions a wives and mothers.

       He   made   us ! ! !

            We’re the clay…not the potter ! ! !

Thank You, God!! Thank You that You are the potter!! What a mess I would be making unto this day, if I were in that place!

Thank You, for the Holy position...clay in the potter's hands!

And, LORD, we know that You did not call us to be doormats!

We are not to be abused by any man…sexually or otherwise!! If words are the only abusive thing, and I know words hurt…been there…we can pray and God changes things.

Even the lost husband can be won by the behavior of his wife…a gentle and quiet spirit is precious to God.

If you rant and rail at your husband, you are disobedient to God.

Your children will do the same to you and to him…and to the teacher…and to the policeman.

A family raises the children.

We sowed the seed…the children…and we water and weed…

We even allow the Sun (Son) to shine and have them grow…

Or we cause them to wither, or grow wildly…without fruit.

Our job before the LORD is to bring forth children that produce much goodfruit.

This doesn’t mean we just feed and clothe them…

We nurture and love…and play and laugh…and spend time with them…

So that they learn how to be Mamas and Daddys for the next generation.

It is all learned behavior regardless of what the books say, that change at every whim of doctrine.

The LORD says clearly in 2 Chronicles 7: 14:

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

I’m His people.  Are you? Will you join me and pray, and seek His face, and turn from your wicked ways? Have we ok’d any of the behavior discussed here.  Have we participated in ungodliness? Then, the LORD is asking us to turn…to repent!

Notice, He didn’t say cry and promise to be good!

He said to turn from our wicked ways…to not participate in the world anymore…in order to be His friend.  We’ve all fallen short…we’ve all been seduced or even tampered with…or we’ve resisted most of the worst of the dark side of man, but we’ve listened to the gossip, or watched the movies, or read the lewd written material…and the LORD is saying,

“Come out from among them, Church!”

And what does it get us? Is there any reward for our changing our lifestyle …for our leaving behind bad relationships?   Yes!!   Yes!!!!   Yes!!!!!

Read the rest of the verse above:

then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Will you join me?

The Word of the LORD that came unto me saying this morning at 3:00 a.m. clearly said…and loud enough for me to get up and write this down…

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the RIGHTEOUS do?

I had no idea when I began writing, where all I was going with the LORD.

His message clearly gives us our part.  Will we stop allowing ungodliness in our homes and in our churches?

Children are very misbehaved and youth are wandering...
not always under the supervision of adults…

A healthy sign in First Assembly of God (Griffin) says:

No one under the age of 18 allowed without supervision of adult in the church.

Hallelujah!! Carnal Christians may think this pastor had a "dirty mind" just like the ones who have said to me...but 1 Cor. 13 tells us that when we were a child we thought as a child and children...though their bodies begin acting like adults...need to be watched!

We’ve forgotten that we are the family of God…and therefore, accountable for the children in the family.

This is been quite a message …from the throne room…

I’m a little sleep-deprived today…but I’m free of the responsibility to tell

Ezekiel 33 says that as a watchman…and I am that!...my responsibility is to warn the people.

Those who heed the warning…save themselves.

If I had not warned...
the blood of those not obeying God’s warning
                would be on my hands.

Now...

            It is on their heads.

        Whew!!!

Thank You, LORD, for Your family…Your Church…standing triumphantly in these last days…in one accord…with unity and one voice…Your Word…in Jesus’ Name!!

Amen and Amen.  So be it!!! So be it!!!!!
