Hello!
I'm Teddi Holt...Mom to my children...Mimi to my grandgirls!
I also answer to pet family names...and I am called Mama Teddi and Aunt Teddi by women around me and around the world.
I man a prayer ministry every day. I'm on free conference line from 5:20sh to 7:00am each morning praying the WORD with 3 or more prayer warriors, and I'm on womenwho pray on fb and Women Who Pray. I minister prayer around the world.
I am embarking on a new thing...I love newness. I've always been excited about mornings because a new day is presented to us from our God...another chance to do a better job than we did yesterday.
I've been participating with another Bible Study online, and I have decided that I will study with those who would like about our part in this vast world and in these last days.
I also participate in 2 other Bible Studies. I lead one and love being in a 2nd one led by a friend of mine..not me.
We will begin with studying LOVE. We will begin with the LOVE Chapter. 1 Corinthians 13 is called the LOVE chapter in the Bible.
Beth Moore suggested that we, the Body of Christ, commit this to memory.
As a result, we pray this chapter each day...one of us reads it aloud...the others of us should be at least listening...but for better chance of memorization...we should read along as we listen to the reader.
Note: I taught school for many years, and that is a hint to do better on tests. We retain more if we read aloud, and if we read along as another reads. Proven!! :)
Now, your job, today, is to read Chapter 13. Then, I want you to come back and discuss with me and others who will join us.
Let's get going girls! :)
Teddi
I will begin the discussion...teacher...lol..go figure. :)

DeleteThanks, Teddi, for giving us a sample of where to respond. I'm responding to "I have a looonggg way to go..."! So do I. Isn't it great that Romans 5:5 says that God's love has already been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit! And we’ve got our example of God’s love – Jesus – in there! We just need to know how to let Him out! What Teddi said above is key. To hide His Word in our hearts so that we don’t sin against Him (and we do behave like Him!), we meditate on His Word, repeating it, reading it aloud. If we continue in His Word (John 8:31, 32) , continuing to meditate on it, the Word becomes part of us and we change. When we keep on going over those verses that we need for our situation, we are using the Sword of the Spirit against our sin nature and we are renewing our minds with the Word. We are also pleasing our Father as well-beloved children (Ephesians 5:1) Emily
DeleteIf I add a comment then I am responding to the original post...makes sense?
